you’ve put me down for everything in the book. the way i look, the way i feel, what i want to do with my life, everything. i’m sorry, but by the end of this year i will wear my green uniform with pride. that’s all i’ve wanted to do, since i was five years old. i never wanted to be a housewife, and i never wanted to raise children or anything. i wanted to be a “policeman” until i felt like i wasn’t ready to take on the streets. so i’ll start small. work my way up. you don’t have to be proud of me, but i’m proud of me and that’s all that matters. i tried to fix our relationship, as broken as it was. believe me, i did all that i could. but i never tried to take away your drugs. or your music. or anything.
